Where is your Spanish dream home?

If you’re like me, and you enjoy the occasional glass (or bottle) of wine, then you’ll find plenty of homes in this issue within a short drive of wonderful wineries. It’s no secret that Spain is full of vineyards. You’ll find excellent wine in nearly every region of the country. But when I refer to ‘Spanish Wine Country’, I’m talking about the show stoppers - the world class areas that will knock your socks off. La Rioja is arguably number 1 (though the Catalans will rightfully fight me on this) with more accolades than any other region. My point is, you can own a home in a top notch wine region in Spain for 1/10th the cost of living in Napa Valley. I once lived in a shoebox near downtown Napa- it was nice but, for me, nothing can compare to the passionate, laid back, family first lifestyle of Spanish wine country.
